Sammic is ready to be present at NRA Show, National Restaurant Association Show. It will take place in Chicago, Illinois, USA, from May 18th to May 21th 2013.

The NRA show is the biggest Foodservice market place in all USA. In 2012 and during this year, 2013, the restaurant industry is reporting a significant sales growth. Exhibit at NRA Show 2013 connect with a massive group of high-level decision-makers and influencers from all across the foodservice and hospitality industry.

We have just published a new video on Sammic TV. In this video, thanks to the collaboration of our friends & winners of Sammic Scholarships Susanne Santos and Clifton Su, we show the main features of our new range of salad dryers: ES-100 and ES-200.

This video shows the main innovations that make of Sammic salad spinners unique in the market, combining a compact design (both models can be stored under a standard counter) with high productivity with an hourly output of up to 720 Kg.

This time we bring you the recipe of a delicious orange cake made by Clifton Su, winner of the Rising Stars Scolarship, who has collaborated with Sammic during the last three months.

For its preparation, he uses three Sammic appliances:

Blender TB-2000 has been used to crush oranges, CKE-8 cutter-emulsifyer to mix the rest of the ingredients, obtaining a homogenous mixture and our OV-235 gastronorm professional oven bakes the cake in point thanks to its core probe.

At FHI Exhibition in Jakarta, the renowned Basque Chef Oskar Urzelai has visited Sammic stand today. Oskar Urzelai has been working as a chef at the best Caribbean hotels and now he is active in South-East Asie, where he regents "Plan B" restaurant in Jakarta.

He uses Sammic equipment in his reataurant and we are proud of his visit. ¡Hasta pronto amigo!

Sammic hires new regional sales head

We are proud to announce that we have hired a new Regional Sales Manager for the south of England by appointing Claire Mansfield to the post.

Mansfield will begin her new role on April 15 after serving her notice period with Frima, where she currently works as a regional sales manager.

As our regional sales manager covering the Midlands South, Claire will be responsible for the continuing support of our distributor network representing the main equipment families produced for the warewashing, food preparation/preservation and snack and beverage markets.

She will also open new avenues in the multi-user, national accounts and public sector areas, expanding the awareness of the Sammic brands.

This year we have incorporated the famous BIDI codes (also called QR codes) in our price lists. QR codes are an evolution of the barcodes in two dimensions, which become enormously popular with the arrival of smarthphones and tablets with processing capacity for such codes to the market.
